DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – On Monday through Thursday this week, Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) crews will be closing some lanes on I-35 in Duluth.

Alternating northbound and southbound lanes on I-35 near Mesaba Avenue will be closed between 8 a-m and  4 p-m for bridge inspections.

Starting Tuesday, a southbound lane between Highway 2 and Boundary Avenue will close for a median guardrail repair between 4 a-m and 4 p-m.

On Tuesday, motorists can expect some delays on Highway 61 near the Silver Creek Bridge construction site. From 10 a-m to 4 p-m, crews will be installing a beam on the bridge.

Traffic will be flagged through the work zone during that time and will need to be stopped in both directions for about 10 minutes as the beam is set in place.
